The cloud is IT that you don’t own. If you don’t manage your own backup yourself for any number of reasons, be it lack of know-how, legal reasons, cost considerations or simply because you don’t have two secure locations for your backups, a backup service is highly recommended.

Just make sure you always know where your data is stored, who is behind the company and how to reach them by phone in case of an emergency.

A backup with a large cloud company is only provided cheaply because they don’t want to provide personal support. In our opinion, this is unprofessional because you want to talk to someone directly when you need help.
