The Object Storage ensures maximum availability of backup data and fully complies with the AWS S3 standard. The object storage is located in SWISS FORT KNOX. The data is stored in the reserved S3 area using the compatible backup application. Thanks to Erasure Coding, the data is redundantly stored multiple times.

• Encryption: Data must be encrypted by the customer before transmission. Data is encrypted using “Data at Rest Encryption” (DARE) in SWISS FORT KNOX.
