20 years of MOUNT10 – embracing traditions together
Two decades of MOUNT10 stand for continuous innovation, Swiss quality and active partnerships. We have taken our anniversary as an opportunity to pause and reflect on what has made us strong: trust, stability and a shared commitment to protecting data in the best possible way. At the same time, we are looking ahead – with new technologies, expanded services and a clear focus on the needs of our customers.
More performance and security thanks to new infrastructure
A key highlight of the year was the introduction of a new backbone connection. This technical upgrade provides significantly higher bandwidth and thus noticeably improved performance for data transfers and backups. At the same time, we have completely modernised our firewall environment. These measures work together to increase the availability, stability and security of our entire infrastructure. For our customers, this means even faster, more reliable and more secure backup services.
Expansion of our service portfolio
In 2025, we expanded our product portfolio in a targeted manner to meet the changing requirements of modern IT environments.
With Entra ID Backup, we offer a specialised solution for protecting identity data and configurations in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). This data forms the backbone of many cloud infrastructures and is essential for the secure operation of Microsoft 365 environments. Our service enables simple and reliable backup and recovery of this sensitive identity data – naturally in accordance with Swiss standards and stored in our highly secure data centres.
Another important step was the integration of AvePoint into our offering. AvePoint is a leading provider of backup, governance and compliance solutions in the Microsoft 365 environment. By combining AvePoint technology with the proven MOUNT10 infrastructure, we now offer our customers a comprehensive, scalable and fully Swiss-operated solution for protecting their cloud data. This expands our expertise in modern SaaS backups and offers companies an additional layer of security – regardless of whether they use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online or other services.
Flexibility thanks to new S3 solutions
Our S3-compatible storage solutions have been available from 1 terabyte upwards since this year. This adjustment makes it easy for small and medium-sized enterprises in particular to enter the world of object-based data storage – with the usual Swiss reliability and security from MOUNT10.
Quality and certification
We also reached an important milestone in 2025 in the area of data centre quality. Our sister company SIAG completely modernised its data centre and successfully had it recertified according to ISO 27001. This further strengthens the high security and quality standards within the entire group of companies. For our customers, this means additional security, transparency and trust in the infrastructure on which MOUNT10 services are operated.
Internal developments
Behind the scenes, we have invested in new software solutions and optimised processes to further improve support, operations and internal workflows. This modernisation forms the basis for sustainable growth and ensures that we can continue to work quickly, efficiently and in a customer-oriented manner in the future.
Commitment and team spirit
In addition to technical issues, we also care deeply about the human aspect. As a sponsor of the Manila Curling Team, we were able to experience sporting successes up close in 2025 – including first place at the Pre-Olympic Qualification Tournament in Aberdeen. We are delighted to continue supporting the team on its journey to the 2026 Olympics.
Prospects for 2026
Our 20th anniversary was a year full of milestones for us – and at the same time a starting point for new things.
