How does Cloud 2 Cloud work?

On the Cloud 2 Cloud web portal, you can connect to the Microsoft 365 platforms. Through the web portal you specify which data should be stored at the Swiss Fort Knox data center – and at which intervals this is to be backed up. Data is transferred automatically at the specified time. Cloud 2 Cloud ensures that your data is backed up without burdening or slowing down your local infrastructure.

RTO (Recovery Time Objective) / RPO (Recovery Point Objective):

Thanks to InstantData technology (powered by Redstor), data such as emails and files are available again within minutes. While users can already access and work with the data, the full recovery process continues in the background.
Backup frequency is defined individually per backup job and, depending on the configuration, backups are performed automatically one to three times per day.

• Write-protected backups: with Microsoft 365, data can be accidentally or deliberately erased by authorised users. Backups created using Cloud 2 Cloud are stored in a read-only version and thus protected against third-party intervention.
• Web-based backup: through a direct link to Microsoft 365, MOUNT10 performs daily backups automatically and without the need for additional software.
• Simple data recovery: Data can be easily and directly restored to your Microsoft 365 environment. Thanks to the “Insta Data” feature, data can also be restored outside of Microsoft 365 (e.g., on your computer).
• Encryption: End customer data is encrypted AES 256-bit by default and cannot be viewed by MOUNT10. Exceptions include email addresses and subject lines of received and sent emails, and file names in OneDrive, which – as with Microsoft – remain unencrypted for technical reasons.
