Unfortunately, it never has been and never will be. Rather, the opposite is the case. Large companies are more aware of the threats and also invest more resources in their protection. SMEs are mostly weak or even unprotected. The Swiss Cyber Defence – DNA Initiative (kmuschutz.ch), is trying to change this situation with a simple guide.
Most SMEs are on the move digitally, be it mails, address databases, offers, service databases, bookkeeping, etc.. If this data is irrevocably lost overnight, it becomes uncomfortable for every SME. An unchangeable backup is the key to survival.
